What is MediLoop?
MediLoop is a medical roleplay ecosystem built for Second Life. It combines in-world clinic and pharmacy terminals with an external 24/7 web portal, giving residents a complete, family-friendly healthcare experience inside and outside the virtual world.
Do I need a Second Life account?
You need a Second Life account to interact with in-world terminals — visiting the clinic, seeing a doctor, or using the pharmacy HUD. The web portal is accessible to anyone with a MediLoop account, so you can browse the OTC store and manage your profile from any browser.
How do prescriptions work?
A MediLoop doctor sees you at an in-world clinic terminal and issues a prescription through their doctor HUD. The prescription appears in your portal immediately. You can then fill it at a pharmacy terminal in-world or place an order through the web portal.
Can I add my whole Second Life family?
Yes. After registering, go to the Dependents section of your portal to add family members. Each dependent gets their own age-group profile (Child, Teen, Parent, or Grandparent) with appropriate product ranges and a distinct colour code.
How do I join as staff (Doctor / Pharmacist)?
Contact a MediLoop admin in-world or via the portal. Once approved, your account will be upgraded to the relevant staff role and you will receive access to the staff HUD and admin console.
Is all content family-friendly?
Absolutely. MediLoop is designed as a family-friendly RP environment. All products, consultations, and interactions are safe for all age groups represented in the system.
